    Hello:
New to this forum, looks like a great research source. Found it doing a quick Bing look-up Governors Island - which was up until approx 15 yrs ago a possession of the Fed - extensive barracks and officer homes used through WWI have been maintained (exteriors) and repurposed. Was searching for any information on the history of the US Army Signal Corps on Governors Island: stationing dates, personnel count, etc - anything would be helpful, especially if sourced to something primary. Thanks!

Have you contacted the US Army Center of Military History online?

No Sir, but will ASAP - a quick look at the homepage indicates a goldmine of verified information.
A bit embarassed that this never crossed my radar, given how many other sites/blogs I've bookmarked over the yrs.
Will also hit the links in your signature - add them to my favorites as well - thanks very much!
