Was wondering if anyone has any information on passenger lists from WW2? Seek information on passengers (troops) and army units that were on board the H.M.T Rajula when it left Oran,Algeria on November 26,1943 for Bombay,India? My father and his unnamed Army Medical Unit were put on board the H.M.T Rohna on November 25,1943. The next day they switched places with an Army Air Corps Unit from the H.M.T Rajula. Switching ships that day probably saved my fathers life. My father and his medical unit were stationed at the 181st General Hospital in Karachi. While serving at the 181st General Hospital my fathers unit was known as Medical Detachment No.2 MD (Supply) which later became Hq & 3rd Supply and Issue Platoon 69th Medical Depot Company.

My dad helped load the Rohna, spent the night on the Rohna and was in his berth when he was told to unload and reload on the Rajula. He is still living and is 95. He was on the advance loading party. His name is Robert Fraley.
