My eldest left for The Netherlands today to study in Rotterdam for six months. Me and my bride are happy for the opportunities BUT are sad that she will be gone so long.

The rest of the family is flying over there in March to visit her, but that seems like an eternity.

I love going to the Netherlands. The people are very laid back and friendly and I have always found them helpful. The majority speak excellent English although they do appreciate an attempt at speaking their language. Your little girl will have a wonderful time there and March is no time at all. It is always hard to let them go!
