Our glorious administrator Slipdigit will probably achieve his Veteran status when he wakes up and starts posting this morning.(he's only 6 posts away) . I wanted to be the first one to congratulate our favorite fireman who does not only extinguish fires for real whne he is at work, but also the virtual ones on this forum. thank and keep on doing the great work and keep surprising us with your silly avatars. :)

And what an Ace he is! Level-headed but with a discreet humour, someone who certainly knows a lot more than he says. One of the great figures in this forum :)

And as the cherry on top of the cake I anticipate he will reach 1,000 rep points today as well :D

You are forgiven Slip and since you are such a nice chap I will make this a double celebration for you by adding the salute points that will bring you over 1000 rep points :)

Congrats Jeff. We appreciate the hard work you do behind the scenes, yet you still put out a number of quality posts to top it off. Well done and I look forward to your next 5000.

I really had not given the number any thought when I changed my avatar last night. I saw the face on an insurance ad and thought he would make a good avatar.

Skip, I appreciate the rep numbers, but save them for someone who actually deserves them.:D

Congratulations, Jeff - on both becoming an Ace and your highly reputable status!

I have appreciated you knowledge, humour, and common sense as a moderator. Most of all, I value and take pride in the friendship you extended to me since I first joined the Forum. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself with us here.

Thank you all for the gentle and not so gentle words of encouragement. I enjoy tooling around in the forum, although my wifey grows weary of it sometimes.

Y'all keep up your end of the bargain and I'll try, along with the other good moderators, to keep the trolls at bay. But heck y'all make it easy.
