SS-Oberst-Gruppenführer Sepp Dietrich uniform

Bought this reproduction uniform years ago from Denmark and has been hanging in the closet for awhile..I rotate my stuff time-to-time as the war room is only so big. If somebody knows where I can find a reproduction Admiral Yamamoto dress white uniform let me know.

 

..interesting......may I ask was it from a private seller? private seller that produces many? or a business that makes full uniform reproductions?

 

Bought it on-line from 1944shop.com...pants included...I bought the ribbon bar elsewhere.

In the original uniform the Eagles and I Suppose the cuff markings were made of gold. Never heard anybody else had them golden but nice to see the repro is following the original idea in that, too.

 

Use to think the buttons should of been done originally in gold as well as the right shoulder chevron...considering his high rank. But I know many others have hatred for the SS..for me it's strictly as a military collector/historian.

Massive man motivator but Wilhelm Bittrich said Sepp had serious problems reading maps.

Well thanks...as for that Admiral Yamamoto uniform...simply for a display that Toshiro Mifune would of been proud to of worn..found a reproduction black uniform but still looking for the classic white. I like this quote from old Dietrich...(In early 1945) "We call ourselves the "6th Panzer Army", because we've only got 6 panzers left"...some general once said "He should of stuck chauffeuring his boss around instead of a whole Army".
