Strasburg Region Questions- Revised pictures

I have come across a few of my grandmothers pictures from the end of the war in Illkirch-Graffenstaden near Stasburg. She is still alive but it's very hard to get her to say much about that time.








What restance group is this in the pictures? One of the armbands looks like it might have a "v" on it, but for the most part they just seem to contain the flag colors.

Are the uniformed soldiers part of the Free French 2nd AD? Perhaps someone might recognize the officer missing a hand.

Would a young male from this region be pressed into service in Wehrmacht?

Would someone from this region have been aware of Natzweiler?

Aside from Natzweiler what prison/camp in this area would a Polish POW be detained in?

I have other questions, but I realize these are pretty obscure so I'll wait and see if anyone here has specific knowledge of this area.
