I am just finishing up a nice book called "Strike and Hold" by Moffatt Burriss, 82nd Airborne. It just follows his and other soldiers experience through North Africa, Italy, D-Day, & Op Market-Garden. Although I have not seen the movie, I have been told that A Bridge Too Far is supposed to be close to his personal story.
