I recall reading of a WWII veteran who survived an incredible number of gun shot wounds but no matter where I search, I just can’t seem to find it.

I used to be active here and think this is where I read it though searching here has not produced any results. To the best of my recollection he was a Soviet soldier at Stalingrad who sustained at least a dozen or maybe over twenty 8mm wounds, had continued to fight and ultimately survived the wounds, and I believe the war.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any leads on a name or story?
