    Vehicle type
    Australian Cruiser Tank Mk III.

    Current location
Australian War Memorial - Treloar Technology Centre, Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia.

    Condition
Inoperative but largely complete. Large amounts of rust. The tank was left outside for many years somewhere near Puckapunyal I believe before being moved to Canberra where is was again left outside for some time before being moved inside in the AWM Treloar Technology Centre. At some point it has received one or more coats of green paint and not the two colour camo it was painted with when built.

    History
Built in 1943 it is the only completed Mk III serial number 8066. Placed in storage with the rest of the ACs from 1943 to 1945 when it was earmarked for preservation as a museum exhibit. Stood as a monument for sometime out doors but is largely intact.
