I know there are many tank lovers here so this one is for you:

A few samples from my tank art collection:

    1) A FT-17 vase (this is genuine earthware and dates from the 1920s when the FT-17 was higly popular and was a symbol of Victory. It was apparently sold without a turret so that people could put flowers in it.

    2) A Renault Bis tank from pewter. This was initially sold in Officers messes in the 1930s but large stocks resulted in the selling of some leftovers afte rthe war and up to the 50s at D-Beaches to tourist where these tanks never landed.......... and were actually used as bunkers turrets by the Germans....

Thanks Skipper and to be naughty, the FT-17 was made in the way they were often to see, with the turret blown away!
