Drawings by Jody Harmon, to be found at http://www.armorart.com/future.html Robotic mini-tanks : A "proposed air defense version of the Bradley fighting vehicle" : But, why are the soldiers wearing German WWII-style helmets ?
I guess in the future, there will for absolutely sure be robot tanks commanded like the new American "soldier".
By the way what do you think about a tank which is able to raise its gun and shoot from a hole and in hull-down?
This wasn't the proposed M1A2 Abrams a few years back? In the game Twilight:2000 it was featured with a version of the Leopard 2, both with this kind of remote turret with autoloader.
The last [edit] one seems very unlikely to me. Too much sci-fi. The remote controlled turret, magnetic rail gun, and armor of the other tanks might be reality a few decades down the road. Robotic tanks I think we shall see more of soon; they are already being used for mine-clearing purposes. Robotic anti infantry tanks that could fight in an urban setting would seem like an excellent weapon.
