Tayport Then and now

    A couple of pictures from the tayport area of Fife, the older one is of the polish troops building the bunkers just to the east of tayport, and the other is the furthest away bunker today. I think it was designed for the 2pdr gun, but am not sure.... I've sadly not got a picture from the same angle, i'll have to give it a go next time I'm up that way..... :)

    yes, but from the Tayport end rather then the Leuchars end! Thats about all there is until you reach the point, other than an endless row of concrete cubes on the beach

    There are quite a few bunkers/pilboxes and other structures ( from the bombing range) after the point heading towards leuchars, but i was dissapointed with how little remained of the camp in the forest..... a couple of fairly dilapidated buildings and thats your lot!
