For a Family Research project, I am looking for any relevant information on the 104th Combat Engineers (Pacific 1940 -1945). In particular, I am looking for a copy of the book: The History of the 104th Combat Engineers 1942-45 by Edward Cook. Thank you in advance for any help!

Not much help for someone looking for a book with '1942-45' in title to send them a link to a book on a WWI unit. Unless there's a prize for quickest response that I am unaware of, can't see the value.

For our OP, who asked a legitimate question, contact your local library with this info and ask them to get you up to speed on interlibrary Loan. Libraries are not required to provide, but request is free (and if they find a library willing to provide, free or cheap to receive), so worth an ask. Good luck.

I forgot to suggest that the reader should mine the footnotes and source for happenstance data. I need to put that in my sig.

There's a copy at the US Army War College in Carlisle, PA. It's available to borrow. Do a Google search for it. There are several libraries that have it. An Inter-Library Loan might be your best bet.
