The "Bagration" scenario on the "Red Turn" games

    After playing this one I wrote the designers on the UoC forum about how the allotted partisan strikes in no way reflected Soviet Partisan Strength in Belarus that summer of 1944 (there should be 3x or 4x of the allotted strikes to come close). He said yes he knew-but if that there would be no game if they were to accord the Partisans the strength they actually had.     Unfortunately, to make a game "sellable", it has to be "playable". Education always take second place to fun. Then again they could have offered options to play in a more authentic mode

    I am sure we will see a realistic "Bagration" scenario on the user generated files one day-it might be kind of boring to just go about Belarus killing off depleted Axis units at will. So I suppose the designers are correct.
