Apparantly, its just been announced we've sold or the govt have managed to sell their debt...not a new thing..but usually goes immediately not in 24 hours...bet Gordon was sweating a little overnight..

One question though....Does anyone know who owns us now?

All i can say is that in Australia polictics it is so different from the the English.
As anyone watch Australian politics in the same situation? I can only say that the Austraians pollies ,should take note on how the British handle things!Very professinal the British.

Deja vu....Thank Goodness we got rid of the days of bust and boom....As Gordon says, there will be no return to the economic cycle.

YouTube - Spitting Image - 80s House Price Slump

Oh the halcyon days....My fault..I was a member...But our placards held high were...what do we want...10 per cent..when do we want it...now..

    Pay the nurses....

    Nationalise something...

    Ban war..

(Welll I never actually held a banner....I believe at that time I would have been court martialled or something in uniform...it doesnt go down well...)

But the passion...the political enemy...the ideology...on all sides...the passion...I say again the passion...

    How things change...

Labour march nowdays..placards carried high by eager hands...

    Higher house prices now

    Cut workers pay...

More taxpayers cash for the city...

    Support Brown's rescue plans...

as the cartoon says..I do believe the lefts aims have differed a little since coming to power....

    The country needs plackard writers....

oh come come....we dont have a dream in this country....theres no such thing as the British dream...We tend to be awake....You have to be...someone might creep in and take the money out of the pillow case.

The socialist dream....Like all dreams...met reality....The final nail in the coffin was Tony boy...

It will never raise its head in the form we know ever again...Some will try to scare others that it will...But its finished...Parts of it may erupt on the sidelines in the form of financial planning but since the world is now Global...wasn't it global before then...who knows..but since the world is global...there is no need for the peasants at the bottom any more to give any input...Decisions will be made by our betters now for all time..no matter who inhabits whatever corridoors of power.

Socialist....Have you looked at Darling...A Trotskyite who had Galloway sent to him at one time to tell him to tone down his message as a youngster...Straw..the radical...rights for the people...now spends more time coveing his own history before he gets the chance to write his own version...but now his only dream is to stop anyone changing expenses in House of Commons.....Blair...No comment....Prescott....the good old socialist of old....All mouth and apparantly trousers...Labour..sleeze? No hardly, but the morals of a monopoly board....What is it we say about power...

Labour have proved that cliche, I dont need to point it out.

Vote for de udder feller...all the time...Politicians...Stuff em all...the long the short and the tall.
