UK TV Sunday 18 March BBC2 8pm - 9pm 'The Greatest Raid of All'
One off documentary in which Jeremy Clarkson explores the story of the WW2 commando raid on the dry dock of St. Nazaire, France, in March 1942. Special effects are used to recreate the raid in which 169 men lost their lives and more that 80 medals were awarded.

    Should be worth watching.

Sounds interesting. Too bad I won't be able to see it. I'll try to see if there is a way to see through it the internet.

Oh - I must watch this ! I was in a secondhand bookshop in London late last year and suddenly found myself in the middle of filming for this programme ( Mr Clarkson was a lot less obnoxious in person than he appears on TV...)

    Excellent program.

Have been trying since to find the Micky Burns autobiography but have had no luck so far.

Watching this program made me think what a great film it would make but know that no British film company would be able to afford to make it.
