    I posted this project's appeal for info on WW1 wireless listening stations in England, but somehow forgot to mention the actual project itself.
    Planned to run until 2018, the idea is to recruit volunteers to record WW1 sites across the UK. At present, there are almost 9,000 sites which have been added, from military sites to hospitals and munitions factories etc etc. There are even war memorials and surviving Zeppelin bomb craters; it's like the Defence of Britain database for the Great War, although hopefully it'll be even more comprehensive.
