Hello everyone, I have recently discovered a brand new book for me to eventually dive into, The Last Enemy by Richard Hillary. Hillary was an RAF Pilot during the Battle of Britain, was shot down, and suffered severe burns which disfigured his face as a result. I read a good portion of the story in Bounty Books, Great Second World War Stories, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm going to read the rest of it as soon as I'm done with the book I'm currently reading. Has anyone here read this book? Thoughts?
