I just listened to the sounds of the "Flying Falcons" ! Nothing really gets me rockin' like the rumble of 29,000 pounds thrust passing overhead at 500 knots :) That's music to my ears. Oh, here they come again !!

Going on Saturaday to see the Muse stadium show which should be an experience. At least read that people liked them play stadiums.

Then on Sunday going to see Rihanna as my friends demanded to go with them. ;) We´ll see how late her show will be. Great music but I read that she has started mostly 30 mins to 3 hrs late her show.

Then it´s about over my summer tour... ;)

Two weeks ago saw Soundgarden in Helsinki Finland. Cornell´s voice is excellent, and the songs were great, I think the guitars are too silent for the cd:s and rougher sounds for the gigs make the songs even better.

My fave song is the Limo wreck for some reason...

Nice one KP. That looks like the robot equivalent of Eddy the Head in the Muse vid.

I'll bump this back to the top.

I'm going to see the Eagles (again) on Wednesday night in Toronto. Almost the same seats as last time, so this should be good.

My oldest friend invited me to go with him to see The Who in Liverpool last night....The Who being the first live rock band I ever saw, back in 1975.... :pipesmoke:

Excellent tickets ( forget the seats - we stood up and bopped right from the opening chords of 'Can't Explain' ) and musically they were far better than when I last saw them ( still with John Entwistle ) at the Albert Hall in 2002.

Obviously not as thrilling as way back in '75 - but my ears are still buzzing........... :hypnotize:

( And as any fan knows, it's not pronounced 'The Who'.... one says ' Thee 'Oo..' )

The last concert i went to was country music artist Jason Aldean a couple of years ago. There's another band that i like called Volbeat that's going on a USA/Canada tour next year that i hope to go to.

Why didn't you say? You could have called in for a coffee on your way past! ☺

I was also in Liverpool, a few weeks ago, to see The Human League. Phil Oakey and the girls have 'still got it' and had everyone up dancing to old favourites such as Don't You Want Me and Mirror Man.

Remember them well. Lots of radio play. They were big back then...Music industry has had to change...Gone are the days of quid pro quo (payola), unless it is the clinton music network.
