What do you think of Ian Kershaw? And there is also the man whose name is taboo and who was condemned for denial of the Holocaust ;) and who has written "Hitler's War ".

I have to admit I've never read any of Kershaw's work, and only one selection from the "Irving" collection, dealing with the loss of the convoy on the Murmansk run. I threw it into pile of "free books" at the library.

David Irving was and remains a decent writer/novelist of fiction, but he never was a historian nor should he be considered one. His latent Nazi sympathy didn't appear initially remember.
