The Sikh Story to be screened on BBC1 tonight

Remembrance: The Sikh Story is due to be screened tonight on BBC1 at 11:20pm. This documentary examines the role Sikh soldiers played in the first and second World Wars to mark Remembrance Day.

Featuring input from leading military experts, Sikh historians, war veterans and the last ever interview with Squadron Leader Mahinder Singh, the programme sheds light on the impact Sikh soldiers had on two World Wars and how their contribution helped Britain win both battles.
