BAY CITY — Gear Stone Pictures is back behind the camera in Bay City, as the company begins filming its second largest production this week.


"The Soldier and the Demon" tells the story of a WWII soldier in Russia and his encounter with a demon involved in the war. Executive producer and actor Ewan Born of Bay City said the project is particularly interesting because it is based in a true story.


"It's actually based around established conspiracy theories and small facts about the war that most people don't know," Born said. "There is that occult factor that Hitler dabbled in to make this interesting. It is just a very powerful screenplay."
