i assume that iowa lies in the middle of the USA so idd, iowas doesn't stand a change for bidding on their own battleship.
wait i got a great idea take it to the gulf (miss some hurricanes) sail it up the missippi the up the iowa river then up the ceder river right up to my house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! well it should end up in iowa
It would be nice if she did end up in Iowa, but it's unlikely that she will. Aside from the difficulties of getting her up the Mississippi, where would she be berthed? And would anyone in Iowa be ready, willing, and able to provide the necessary upkeep for the ship? I can tell you, maintaining USS NORTH CAROLINA is very expensive and pretty much requires constant fundraising.
O well davenport or the quad cities have a nice river fron and i think iowa would like to help our only ship
is this the raison why they call torpedo's a "fish"? fish in the water => boom => a lot of fish out the water besides, i don't think that anybody will allow you to fish with guns, and certainly not when they are so big
