Wow, I have known from looking at websites......it is an emotional experience to read about our MOH recipients so when I do I will take no more than two for a reading at a time due to this kind of a story. For me, the depth of this emotion is a taxing thing....realizing how great Americans such as this have served their fellow men and women.
I'm constantly amazed at what these men are capable of. I wonder how many others did something similar, with no publicity.
That's the sad part. They gave their life a long time ago for us. Now we have to dig and search for their names. We shouldn't forget about them...
What an amazing man. His bravery is enough, but his selflessness in that he didn't want anyone to help him because he didn't want his friends to die doing so is even more remarkable. I am sure there are so many stories of bravery that have never been told.
