    Question: Was there ever a Tiger with a stereo-periscope instead of that bloody awaful driver's slit? Perhaps even an official attempt?

    In a Battle of the Bulge museum in Wiltz (Luxembourg) I have seen a picture of a destroyed Tiger I. It had the entire thick part of the barrel, which is normally attached to the mantlet, blown down the barrel to the muzzle brake!

    Unfortunately my picture of this picture failed. Maybe someone can find it somewhere else?
