Pretty good and even treatment. However, it wasn't just reluctance to fit a British gun that made the US Army shy away from the 17pdr. The Americans were not sure if enough guns and ammunition go be produced to match tank production, they also (mistakenly; due to flawed testing) believed that the US 76mm gun was almost as good as the 17pdr at tank killing and there was concern that the HE soft target abilities of the 17pdr (and 76mm as well) were not equal to the Sherman's 75mm. Mix this with the flawed US doctrine that tank destroyers, not tanks, were to fight other tanks and you end up with the Sherman vs Tiger or Panther mis-match.
Just as me262 said, look at the tracks, a tiger track goes way out of the body, and the tiger have 2 rows of road wheels. If you look in the german tank-section of http://www.military.cz/panzer/index_en.htm you can see how the roadwheels are mounted. I think its the same construction on the panther too. Also the size is an issue here.. Tiger : 8.45 x 3.40 x 2.95 m Sherman: 6.16 x 2.67 x 2.79 m T-34: 5.92 x 3.0 x 2.45 m In the video the "T-34 tiger" is way too small and also the track and its 5 road wheels match a T-34 perfectly. Some T-34 were rebuilt to look like Tigers for movie production. I appologise for my bad english and hope I made my self understood.
