    8. may- this is the date of the end of the world war two in europe. The day should be celebrate and we all (specificly the germans like me) should commemorate to the victims.
    We germans know now what we have triggered and most of ous are abashed.

    im saluting to the glory victors that they breaked down the german national socialism

    Nice reminder Killa. Here we call it "V.E. Day", or "Victory in Europe" day.

    here we call it "Ende des zweiten weltkrieges", (end of world war 2) because we have loosed the war and for ous the war ends there.

    Yes that makes sense. On the Allied side we also have "V.J." day, or "Victory in Japan" day. This is in the middle of August.

    I bet in 1945 this particular day made many an Allied Soldier very Happy knowing the fact that they were going home for good... And also all the civillians in Germany, so that they could start building there life once again.. :thumb:
