    Post #4, first picture of the Chaffee.
    Great picture. Rarely seen a Thompson in that configuration. No butt, wood rather than hand grip. Damn, would love to fire a mag off on one of those.

    Another bookmarked page. Not being very familiar with various types of armored vehicles, this page will be a big help.

    The one on the tank only had the wood rail grip. First time seen it like that. ..What a work of art.
    Too bad they went to the grease gun. Probably a lot cheaper to produce, and doubt it was near as effective.

    Originally I thought the tankers used the drum version of the thompson.
