How about it? The top posts in WW2F history (by post/read count), there has been some great stuff. A lot of it buried... Would that be a difficult thing to do?
Such an undertaking would be time consuming, to say the least. You are correct in saying that there are many older posts and buried posts that are worth revisiting. I'm just not sure I would be willing to take on such an activity. Maybe there is another way to accomplish it. Good luck to anyone willing to take this on.
In Vbulletin, it was quite easy for an Admin to compile top threads/posts etc. Not sure it's so straightforward in IPB. What you can do, is open individual forums, eg: http://www.ww2f.com/forum/101-armor-and-armored-fighting-vehicles/?sort_key=posts&sort_by=Z-A And on the top left, sort by most views & replies. There's also 'Most saluted content': http://www.ww2f.com/best-content/ Which can also be filtered by member from their profile - I think.
Remember. I'm an idiot. Not bragging, just the way it is. Wouldn't know where to start. Thinking it would be a good task for Fred. He's smart like that. Happy CAC has recieved my cheque.
