I rode my bicycle (loaded [the bike, not me]) through the James Herriott part of Yorkshire in 1987, and again through west Yorkshire in 1990, doing the end-to-end. Some of the best green scenery in the world.

The Yorkshire scenery is beautiful. It will teach the continental youth a few things, for instance they think Yorkshire is the name of a little dog. they could at least know they have great puddings too .
