Tracing squadrons movements

Hi

I`m new to this forum so sorry if I am posting in the wrong area. I hav erecently obtsin my Grandads war records and would like some help understanding what I have. He was a gunner in the RAF and spent most of his time in the Middle East and Greece I think.I have dates for his squadron which are as follows

Middle East 19/03/42
230 Squadron 26/05/42
2908 Squadron 09/10/43
MAAF/2908 Squadron 18/08/44

The rest of the dates then go on to after the war. I was wondering if people would be able to tell me the movements of these squadrons or where I could find that sort of information as what I have received is rather limited. I have also 2 dates when he was in hospital but I guess its impossible to find out for what reasons. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
