http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/athletics/23307913 Former world champion Tyson Gay and Jamaica's ex-100m world record holder Asafa Powell have failed drug tests. American Gay, 30, the joint-second fastest man ever over 100m, was told by the US Anti-Doping Agency on Friday that his A sample from an out-of-competition test in May was positive. Powell, the all-time fourth quickest, tested positive for a banned stimulant at June's Jamaican Championships. ----------- Ouch! Another very sad day....
I disagree.i would one day like to see these sprinters run the 100m in 5 seconds.I don't care if they have needles in their arms at the time.thanks.
Sad Kai? To me it's just not surprising anymore that high level athletes are using performance enhancing drugs. The testing is so porous and so many people get caught, so it's obviously rampant. There isn't a pro athlete alive today would even raise my eyebrow if they tested positive for PEDs.
