    I found and scanned this photo on Saturday at the NARA.

    Caption reads:

    "Nest of U-Boats on the ways at Werfthafen in
    Bremen Harbor. These are some of the 40 subs found
    here when captured in various stages of repair and construction.
    This drydock was one of Germany's largest. Units of the
    95th Infantry Division, 9th U.S. Army are now in this sector."

    Date: 5 May 1945

    Looks like a load of the Type XXI next gen U-Boats that were to late to see action.

    Great Picture.

    the pic could be attributed to the Deschimag - AG Weser, Bremen.

    the last real attack upon these works was on March 30, 1945. Boots of various marks were left still and unfinished.......
