But Italy couldnt mustard out a single goal against an English team who played like a high school team.

 

The word is "muster" not "mustard." Besides, that was just an act to lull the Germans into a false sense of security.

 

Im with Tom, I like Italy but I will be surprised if they get passed Germany...

 

think if Italia was to play Deutschland they really need to step it up several notches, the game with England though a win was played in rather dull style and not agressive as it should of been ..........

 

Portugal vs Spain tonight... If Spain wins, as they should, Iker Casillas has played 100 victories for his country which is a new world record...

Arsenal has bought two attackers, Podolski and Giroud. It smells like van Persie is going goign going away....

 

Glad Spain won so that Ronaldo can cry himself to sleep.

Great goals by Balotelli. And some poor defending by Germans. I was surprised the Germans were playing 4-5-1, trying to stop the Italians wheras I was before the match hoping they would give the young stars playing time. Pirlo is still the King of the midfield! Pirlo has been my favourite midfielder for a long time. Got his Milan shirt as well.

 

Well as usual I was excellent in my apraisal of all things football...Russia to win and England to go all the way...I now predict Latvia to gain the most gold medals at the olympics.

 

Finally the Euro 2012 football final game!!

Italy has made a wonderful come back from the gloomy situation before the tournament. Must say I am surprised by the level of football by Balotelli and Cassano, the wild boys of football. They are now determined footballers on the field...

Still, I put my trust in Fabregas-Xavi-Iniesta-Alonso-Silva. That midfield is brilliant. So my favourite to win is Spain. But I look forward to Italy making it hard for them.

 

..the Germans made England's result against Italy 0-0 look like a decent performance. Got to go with the Italians for the final, especially as Balotelli plays in England and plays 'English' style football- with passion and fire. Unfortunately we don't play like that any more - too busy trying to copy the continentals. Hate the Spanish football - bore the opposition to death..

 

..I can't believe I said they were boring..they're like the Harlem Globetrotters tonight, pinging the ball about everywhere..shows what I know ..sparkling Spain ! ; 2-0 at H-T
