USS Arizona circa 1934, from the movie, "Here Comes the Navy"

    I ran across this movie on the TCM ( Turner Classic Movies) channel. Exterior shots were filmed onboard the Arizona and, if you look in the background, you will see other BB's and CA's.

    Several of the Arizona,s crew were extra in the film. From what I heard, the interior 14-inch turret set was very realistic.

    Paul Stillwell's Arizona book has several stills from the movie.

    those old movies are fun to watch ..I watch to try to examine old items/culture/etc
    here's a trailer that has some good ship scenes....
    even the US FLeet is credited right after the main stars..ship scenes are at the beginning
