USS Lexington Found.

Thanks again for checking. I kind of think he must have been enlisted on the Lexington and flight school came later. He was born about 1923 so he would have been 19 at the time of the battle.....too young to have finished flight school by then.

I agree about traveling the world as a military brat. I think my mother figured out they had lived in 32 homes over my dad's career. It was a learning experience for us that today's kid's don't understand.
