Frank Sinatra, and Trevor Howard play the c.o.'s of a group of escaping Allied prisoners of war attempting to get out of Axis occupied Italy and to neutral Switzerland by train. Great action flick, in the manner of many Hollywood action-adventure films from the 1960's. but not very factual IMO. Still, I'd watch it for the drama. Bill
Isn't to bad, I wouldn't buy it, but its ok. I believe its our duty to watch every single WW2 movie there is and laugh at there historic inaccuracy... well, not laugh, but... yea.
Thanks Bill and Zealot. That's kind of what i expected. I will watch it though. I usually like Sinatra.
I have it on both VHS and DVD--like it and enjoy watching it when its on. It's worth buying at $10.00. in my opinion.
