    Greetings all,

Can anyone be so kind as to provide me with some information on how well distributed pea-dot uniforms were in 1944 specifically Normandy, did most Waffen SS soldiers ware it or would just the standard German grey be more common late war? I am having trouble getting exact information so I can paint my Waffen-ss for Normandy and onwards.

I am looking to build a miniature wargaming force based on either the 12th SS or 2nd SS.

Many, if not most of the personnel in 1. SS-Panzerdivision and many of the ex-1. SS Panzerdivision cadre personnel in 12. SS-Panzerdivision in Normandy wore Italian-pattern telo mimetico cloth along with standard Waffen-SS pattern camo. 2., 9., and 10. SS-Panzerdivision and 17. SS-Panzergrenadierdivision were probably all attired in standard Waffen-SS pattern camo.
