Pic 2) Another great combat shot of them on that mountain top. Pic 3) Cliff Robertson as the Canadian Major and 2nd in command of Der Teufels Brigade. Great close-up shot of him. Pic 4) I dont expect the youngsters on this site to know who this man is? but he is none other than William Holden who is the Colonel in command of: The Devils Brigade. Great closeup shot of him too.

Hi Ray, I knew you would like these ;-)) These are more from Bills fantastic collection and there are many more to come-a few per day ;-)) 1) & 2) The Commanders. Notice the one for the Germans is printed back-ackwards? ;-)) As Ray kindly noted, Nrs 3) & 4) are some great shots of action by the British Paras @ Pegasus Bridge ;-)) More of this kinda stuff to come for those who like the movie: The Longest Day ;-))
Hi Ray, quite welcome and more great ones coming you then our way courtesey of Bill. Oh and, wait till you get a gander at the BAR pic and the guy holding it. Look closely and you will see whom he greatly resembles though I know he was not in the movie ;-))

Danke Ray, and glad to see you here looking at these Ulrich ;-)) The movie your talking about is Zulu and these guys were @ Roarkes Drift. Nigel Green is the British Color Sergeant. Thanks Ray, I loved those Ranger shots too. More coming tomorrow morning. 1) Der Deutschers looking at one of the dummy "Paratroopers" dropped. 2) Great shot of Sergeant (Jeffrey Hunter) of the Combat Engineers, just after General Norman Cota (Robert Mitchum) just gave him a battlefield promotion (whether he liked it or not?) to 2nd Lieutenant. 3) The Rangers scaling the Pont Du Hoc cliffs. 4) A Ranger mit a Browning Automatic Rifle. Anyone here b'sides moi, think this guy looks like a VERY well-known Actor who was in movies like: From Here To Eternity, The Professionals, Fail Safe, The Crimson Pirate, Vera Cruz, Go Tell the Spartans, Judgement At Nuremburg, The Train, Birdman of Alcatraz and Gunfight At the OK Corral. And if you cant figure out whom im talking about from these movies listed? then you AINT really fans of classic movies like I thought you all were ;-))

Heh heh, these are good. I only know of that Redheaded Spy movie thanks to recently looking in leo maltins book. I didnt see that John Ross Marriott Chard (Stanley Baker) pic yesterdsay but is ic nice anc claer here today. Another great Duke "Sands" photo. I need to look for some of those as well ;-)) I saw only part of: A Hill In Korea (Brit title is: Hell In Korea) and didnt see Michael Caine as I guess he had already been killed off. I didnt see Stephen Boyd either so I guess he too was chopped earlier in the movie. Anyway, I was looking forward to seeing Caine in it but missed my chance.
