    Hello all,

About 20 years ago an ex partner gave me 3 bound photo albums of black and white photos of the Middle East, beautifully presented with hand written notes. I don't know exactly where the albums came from but I do know they were purchased in Brighton.

A quick google has lead me to the photography of RAF Sgt Jack Burgin. The time and locations match up and the photos on the BBC site look very similar.

    BBC - WW2 People's War - Images of WWII - Jack Burgin’s Photograph Album — Index Part 2

The locations are: Luxor / Karnak / Thebes / Giza / Cairo / Tomb of Sakhara / The Nile / Alexandria / Jerusalem / Bethlehem / Jericho / Dead Sea / Nazareth

I guess I'm trying to track down the photographer as I have an interest in selling the albums in the future.

I've taken a few snaps with my phone, they can be seen here....

    Thanks in advance,
    Craig
