Here is a great bit of info about the weapons and wounds of ground war in WW2. It's a re-do of a US Army medical publication. Beware, it is extremely graphic! Also, it's long but very informative. Bear in mind it's not supposed to be light reading, it's a US Army medical document and as such a potentially valuable source. I found what I read (Which is by no means all of it) interesting, but you have to be willing to read what is essentially a technical document that by its nature will make little effort and have little requirement to make it engaging to the reader.
