What are some good websites that anyone knows for events and reenactments happening for world war II events? I seem to always catch the posts too late, anything I can check to see and stay updated with?
It's like you read my mind otf. I've been planning on doing this here for some time. Once Peppy and I get the user gallery squared away here in the next few days, this is our next project. It's been a big year for us and we aren't done yet.
I find this one useful as it contains an 'events' section. WWIIReenacting.co.uk - The home of WWII / WW2 Re-enacting in the UK - WW2 Reenacting, WW2 Re-enacting, WW2 Reenactment, WW2 Re-enactment forum This is the US version: WW2 Reenactors - Login
Alternatively, look at the 'groups' section and then their event lists, thats where I usually find stuff. I don't have internet access at home at the mo but when I do I'll start posting lists of events over here for y'all.
What are the good, the bad and the ugly Reenactor Groups? There are a few posts on the topic here. http://www.ww2f.com/topic/21792-another-reenactor-here/ http://www.ww2f.com/topic/11745-new-member-aaf-reenactor/ http://www.ww2f.com/topic/12354-reenacting-omaha-beach-with-3-people/ http://www.ww2f.com/topic/17298-greeting-from-a-chinese-military-reenactor/ http://www.ww2f.com/topic/52328-ukraine-invasion-a-reenactors-dream-2-b-deleted/ http://www.ww2f.com/topic/43719-2nd-cavalry-regimenthelp-a-french-reenactor-please/ http://www.ww2f.com/topic/31431-reenactor-battle-latta-plantation-charlotte-nc-may-14-16/ Who should we look for out there, which groups to avoid? I'm interested in this - hating the Reenactment on the TV Series "Greatest Tank Battles" ... "Soviet Storm" and (forgotten) TV Series.
