What campaign medals would my granddad have been eligible for?

My granddad was a driver in the Royal Signals Section attached 9th Medium Regiment Royal Artillery. He enlisted in January 1942 and remained with this unit until the end of the war in Europe, through Normandy, Belgium and Germany. He then went to India with the Quetta Signals and was demobbed in 1946.

He did not keep any of his medals (he gave them back to the army in some sort of protest). From what I am aware he did not have any personal medals, just unit/campaign medals.

I would appreciate it if anyone could advise which medals he may have been eligible for and/or received.
