What if Germany used the French Fleet?

    Tried to submit this before not sure why it didn't go through. Anyway after my readings I feel that this was a very real historical possibility (Church Hill did too obviously). Assuming that the Germans managed to take full control of the French Fleet before it was sunk, do you think that could have been a game changer in the West? Or at least make a major impact?

    With all this talk about the Z plan and what not I feel that this was a more realistic and almost realized threat that would make for a great What-If discussion.
