Well, another Memorial Day weekend is beginning. I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend.

I thought it would be a good idea to start a topic where members could share how they are going to honor and remember our servicemen and women who have fallen in the service of their country.

I will be attending a local service and will also visit a local military museum.

I will be attending the official Memorial Day Ceremony at Luxembourg American Cemetery this afternoon. Tomorrow is reserved for the family and some research work I have to do.¨Monday I will meet with a veterans association historian for a visit of a newly unveiled memorial.

I try to remember those who have served throughout the year, so I will probably go about my normal routine.

I have put this out there before, so I will do it again. I work in a job that has paid holidays for it's employees; so, in addition to enjoying a paid day off with family and friend I will be donating a days pay to a veteran's charity.

I a not saying you should do it; but, it's something you could do.
