I know lieutenants are the lowest of the commissioned officers, but, still, in this forum there are sergeants, corporals and privates below them, and in the real military there are master sgts, staff sgts, sergeants, corporals, private first classes and privates below them. Meaning-I'm not exactly brand-new to this.
Merlin-thanks for standing on my side in this debate! Everyone else, no offense at all. To probably give you a shock, merlin, I am 10.

You're "new" in that you've been a member for a little more than a month - me, for example, I've been around for almost three years. Rank doesn't matter here, what matters is how much time you've had to read people's posts and discuss things with them, which is how you get to know them. CSP's personal information has been posted here over the time that he's been a member, but naturally since you're a more recent member than he is, you haven't read all that. This isn't an insult or a degrading comment in any way, just a simple fact, and nothing for you to be upset about.

Depends where he's shooting. Below decks...must be drunk or stupid (probably both  )

On deck....hope he knows how to aim.

    question

Errrrrr? What does ROFLMAO  stand for????
Must agree, a sailor with a rifle is marginally less dangerous than an officer with a map!
"I say Driver, I think that large stretch of water on our left is Lake Chad."
" Not quite Sir, it's on our right and it's the Mediterranean!"
