Whom should I be?

I'm going to start an extremely detailed game of MTW II Kingdoms using a mod that basically combines all four Kingdoms Campaigns into one big map, with all such factions to play as. Thus, this poll.

This 'version' of the game is much harder. I did a few turns run through and was quickly in debt. Yes, it is that hard. That was after taking two cities too.

The Irish
The Scottish
The Welsh

The Teutonic Order
The Kingdom of Jerusalem
The Lithuanians

I'd need more information about the game to make an informed decision. Guessing isn't going to do you much good.

 

I would say either Ireland or The Kingdom of Antioch or Jerusalem. Ireland is kinda hard if you're in for an early challenge, since the territories are slightly spead out, but Jerusalem and Antioch are realtively easy sice they have incredible cavalry and lots of territories to begin with.

 

I'd say Scotland. Although I have only played the standard MTW2, I love playing as Scotland.
Let England attack you and get excommunicated so you can take all their territory, or just attack them and face up to the Pope.

Anyway, I love the axemen they get, superb early game infantry.

 

Google Medieval Total War II to get an idea of what I am talking about. Its like my Papal States AAR, only on a much bigger map, with more factions, and harder gameplay in general.

I thought we were a protected species. More than that: the Chosen People (see avatar for a specimen)
