No Nadal, No Federer... easy victory for Djokovic?

I also read it is the worst tournament in Wimbledon for the US players since 1912....

Why all this? Is the grass somehow different this year?

The grass is no different this year. There has been a lot of talk/coverage here about it.
The courts are usually a bit slippery during the first few days of Wimbledon.

Nadal hadn't played on grass for a while, he seemed to have overcome his knee problems as he has been winning almost everything since he came back from injury-but grass is a different game altogether, plays havoc with the knees.

Federer? Don't know what happened there-maybe just had a bad day.

Djokovik definitely should be in the final but I don't think he has an easy ride, nor does anyone.

Anyone want to mention Andy Murray? We NEED a Wimbledon champion over here-it's been too long

Lions win, Murray wins and Froome leads the Tour. A great weekend for British sport.

Seems like the winning of the Olympic games gave Murray the boost to believe himself all the way to winning anything. I somehow felt when he won Federer then that he is a changed man, now.
