Hi Skipper, Jeff, Lou, Clint and all. Whomever sees this first? please post my two newest wins (original WWII pics) in this section if you dont mind? One pic shows another award ceremony and the other shows a wounded German who was just awarded his award doc. Nothing special except for the movie stills im going to be getting in. Its still up in the air about that Reagan Prisoner of War pic-but the rest are mine. Also, just this morning I found someone selling 5 or so of James Cagney in: The Fighting 69th.

    Cheers Skipper, and thank you.

Top photo is an EKII award ceremony somewhere in Holland-I dont have any info on it yet. this means before trouble started in Russia ;-))

Pic Nr 2 i like much as its a rarer type shot that shows a Soldier being awarded both his EKII award Doc and EKII.

I scored several other images-but only war movie images. These include 6 from: The Fighting 69th w/ James Cagney, Pat O"Brien, Alan Hale Sr, Frank McHugh and Gwinn "Big Boy" Williams. Those 7 Von Ryans Express pics are now definately mine and at least one of two Prisoner of War stills is now definately mine. The seller has a 2nd one but I will probbaly not hear back on it till sometime tomorrow.

Also, for Westerns fans, I am hoping to secure 8 minty lobby Cards to a Bruce Bennet Indian Wars-Cav movie I THINK is called: The Flaming Frontier. Anyway, I should know on these with in a few days.

to bad Carl we cannot see the EK 2 being worn on the tunics of the chaps in the 1st pic and the second am assuming for security re: ebay ? the eagle and swastika are blotted near out on the service caps. good pic; note the riflemans augie being worn by the guy in the second row who wishes he was not present by his looks and the interesting connection to the inside of the tunic instead of application to the outside button hole.

Also the EK 2 recipient wonder if he was to be awarded the wound badge in black due to that painful looking hand left shoulder injury, he seems to have a strong constitution anyway for the camera.

Hi E, same here. That first pic cost me either .99 cents or $1.25? and the other was vise-versa on price.

Yep, one of Ricks Elfs blotted out the offending insignias. I hate how stupid the ebay police can be on these things.

Just secured three more and hopefully a few more by the end of the new day.

Anyway, the three new ones are:

    1) A pretty good shot of a Heavy Arty piece in position in wintertime.

    2) A great shot of a man in his foxhole as taken by his buddy-also in said foxhole.

    3) A great shot of at least two knocked-out Russian tanks from either the BT or T series.

Carl the "heavy" artillery piece is actually a "light" 10.5cm from one of the light atrillery Abteilungs/Kompanies like the serviceman that I put up the doc scans for. the piece either equipped with the muzzle brake or not. check out the small protective shield for the crew ...........

great pic(s), dig the last one especially

    Cheers Skipper, Lou ;-))

Skipper, thank you bunches for posting these. I also have another tank pic that shows a few KOed Russian BT tanks.

Hi Lou, I liked that Wheatfield shot a lot too. Skipper might be right in that these tanks might have been KOed at Kursk. I dont know if any writing is on the backs of these but will definately tell more soon as these come in. Also, I am bidding on at least 14more for today and dont know if ill wind up with any but-theseare some fairly nice shots. Im going to reserve what cash I have left for the possibility of getting some Brauchitsch and Blomberg pics.

    1) Is a typical Arty in Winter in Russia pic. As I love Winter pics-was why I went for this one ;-))

    2) Great inside view of a comrade in a foxhole. Ive seen some like this from time to time but not near as nice as this one is.

    3) Halftracks towing Artillery somewhere in Russia. Im hoping that some of these pics are from the same unit and also have writing on them.

    4) Russian tanks KOed in Wheatfield. Skipper mentioned above the possibility of these being at Kursk, im inclined to agree. Im hoping to know for sure when these arrive.
    5) Not mine ;-)) but a shot I considered bidding on. I found a better one that shows an MG-34 inside a bunker-and is facing the Rhine?

those small Soviet tanks - abandoned as I see no tell tale sings of hits from K 3's Mk IV's or anything heavier even Pak rounds. almost appears as Recon armored vehicles ? .......worthless

Hi, he looks like a General to me, from his shoulder straps and the 'colour' of his cap cords.
    Nice pic, Jerry
