World War Two 1/72 scale Diorama

    I would really like to build a diorama for my models but i have absolutely no clue where to start.
    Could somebody please help me find out how to do something like those shown below.
    Materials, tips and tricks, lnks to how tos or anythig that would be useful for a novice please post it.

    Not modelled for some years but I used to make dioramas, the ground can be made from plaster of paris or even paper mache, the grass is flock thats glued on using something like PVA, you can buy all this stuff from a good model shop along with scale buildings, walls, lamp posts etc. After that its up to you to detyail them/hack them about et. Try working from some period photos for ideas.

    The bottom three look more like wargames than dioramas.

    They look like they are at Anzio or of sorts... especially the first pic.

    Those look smaller-scale than 1/72? Nice dioramas though.

    I personally prefer 1/35 myself(I allways break the small parts/can't find them after i take them out of the box).

    I like 1/35 as well. I just have been building 1/72 scale since I was a kid. I remember me and my Dad used to go to the model shop every weekend and figure out what we were going to build. My mother would be mad because in my Dad's study we literally had the entire Luftwaffe hanging from the ceiling lol along with unfinished projects on newspapers everywhere.
